Today we continued to work with our TI program for Newton's Method, Lesson 4.7. Our complete assignment is #1-8 We also discussed our quiz over Lesson 4.6, which we will take tomorrow.

Today we revisited multiplying radicals from 11-8. Students worked in class on this worksheet (including a chance for bonus points). Tomorrow we'll tackle division.

AP Calculus AB Resources
In 2012, the AP tests will given from May 7 to May 18. The Calculus exams will be given on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Our Calculus class prepares students for at least the AB Curriculum as oulined in the College Board's course description. Please use the links below to access other available resources.

Math Field Day 2012 will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at U of M Flint. More information is avaliable at their website, including results and past problems.
The Michigan Math Prize Competition test was held on October 5, 2011. Three students who advanced to the next round, continued on November 30, 2011. Approximately $20,000 in scholarships will be awarded through the competition this year.
